We met by sheer divine orchestration. What started as just a chat message became a three-hour-long phone call the first time we spoke, and many more 6-hour plus phone calls in between and multiple days connecting, conversing, and learning about each other - our values, vision, compatibility and connection. Then we FINALLY went on our first date, and thereafter, a second date that set the tone for what became apparent, as we kept dating and interacting. Our interaction was easy, enjoyable, and inspiring. We soon realized that we comprehended and complemented each other very well. This was a second chance at love and happiness that God was presenting to us.

We got engaged on December 29, 2023, and started the first step of our future as a married couple at an intimate elopement wedding with immediate family at Concord Point Lighthouse - Havre de Grace, Maryland on March 10, 2024, which was the birthday of Alexandra Okoroji (the bride). Five months later, we took a second step into our future together, celebrating our union in the presence of our families, friends and closest allies at Turf Valley Resort, Ellicott City, Maryland on August 30, 2024, which was also the birthday of Eric McGill (the groom).

We chose our birthday(s) as a symbolic day to make our declarations, take our most important vows to each other, and celebrate our union. We are grateful to have the love, support, and friendship present in our relationship, and even more blessed to have our blended family, relatives, and friends usher us into this new season of unwavering love and joy.
